The Survivor Fantasy League

The Constitution

The League’s Law

The SFL runs on one idea: every point is earned, every call is transparent. This Constitution exists so every Captain knows where the lines are — and so the President never has to make it up on the spot.

Article I — Play Fair

  • No cheating, no account sharing, no exploiting scoring bugs. Find a bug? Report it to the President — you’ll be thanked, not punished.
  • No collusion to rig outcomes. Trades must be legitimate: both sides trying to win. Throwing points or laundering advantages through another Captain is cheating.

Article II — Be a Good Human

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, or bullying toward any Captain, Chief, or the President — in league messages, emails, the ticker, or anywhere tied to the league.
  • Trash talk is tradition. Cruelty is not. The President knows the difference.

Article III — Respect the Systems

  • No spamming inboxes, the ticker, or broadcasts. No vote manipulation. No abusing Hail Mary, Ringer, trade, or question mechanics.
  • Don’t try to break the site. Probe it and you can explain yourself from timeout.

Article IV — Respect Rulings

  • The Chief’s call stands during the season. The President’s word is final, full stop.
  • Disagree with a call? Appeal like an adult (Article VI). Ranting in the league chat instead of appealing is its own violation.

Article V — Sentencing

The President holds the gavel. Sentences come in four weights:

  1. Official Warning — on the record, no restrictions. Everybody gets one chance to be better.
  2. Timeout — 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 22 days. While timed out you cannot sign in to your Captain’s Log. Your team keeps its points; you just can’t touch anything.
  3. Season Forfeit — for offenses too big for a timeout. Your squad is frozen where it stands: it stops scoring, you’re out of prize contention, and the standings record the forfeit. Your season is over, but the door isn’t locked forever.

What becomes of the forfeited squad? The Chief holds a vote among the remaining Captains. Three options:

    1. Ghosts — the forfeited Castaways score for no one. They’re ghosts: still on the island, dead to the game. (The President notes this warps everyone else’s game — vote wisely.)
    2. Redistribution — the forfeited squad is divided up randomly among the remaining Captains.
    3. The Standby Pool — the stranded Castaways wait in reserve. The next squads to lose a Castaway claim a replacement from the pool, in order, until none remain.

Majority vote decides. The Chief breaks ties.

  4. Permanent Ban — account closed, email blocked from re-registering. The door is locked.

The President may skip straight to a timeout or ban for serious violations. Every sentence states its reason, is logged in the Office, and is emailed to the Captain.

Article VI — Appeals

  • Reply to your sentence email within 7 days to appeal. Say what happened in your own words. One appeal per sentence — make it count.
  • The President reviews every appeal personally and may uphold, reduce, or overturn the sentence. The President’s decision on appeal is final.
  • The Advocate Clause. You may ask your Chief to vouch for you. If they do, your appeal goes to a Small Council:
    • Three Captains, drawn at random from every Tribe, are summoned by Small Council Notice — jury duty for the League.
    • The Council reviews the violation page: the offense breakdown, the rule cited, the original sentence, your appeal letter, and your Chief’s vouch. All names are withheld — the Council never knows whose case it is, and no one ever knows who sat on it. Only the President knows.
    • Each member votes guilty or not guilty, and may suggest a lighter sentence.
    • The President collects the votes and makes the final determination. The Council’s ruling is then published — the verdict, not the names. Council members remain anonymous, forever.
  • If your Chief declines to vouch, the President decides your appeal alone.

Article VII — The President

  • The President is bound by this code like everyone else.
  • The gavel cannot fall on the President — somebody has to hold it.
  • The President cannot be impeached or removed from office.
  • But the President is not above the law. Any Captain who believes the President has violated this code may message their Chief with the details of the alleged violation. The allegation goes out to every Tribal Chief, who vote to agree or disagree. If a majority agree, the President shall be sanctioned — the punishment to be determined at a later date.

Article VIII — Presidential Oversight

  • The President holds read-only privilege over every Tribe Headquarters and every Chief’s page in the League. The President may view all records, pages, and proceedings of any Tribe at any time.
  • This privilege is strictly observational: the President may not alter, edit, or interfere with any Tribe’s pages, records, or data under this article.
  • Enforcement actions remain governed by Articles V and VII.
