The Office of the President

The Triangle Office

The most famously shaped office in the world is oval. This one has three sides and no apologies. Pull up a chair — mind the corners.

Presidential Address

My fellow survivors, I come to you from an office with three sides and no apologies, to talk about what we are building here. But first, I want to tell you why this is personal. My grandmother — Grandma Jolink, my mom's mom — loved Survivor. She was an incredible woman with an incredible heart, and she never missed an episode. When the credits rolled, she and my mom would pick up the phone and talk through every moment together — every blindside, every betrayal, every hard-fought victory. My grandmother has passed now. But that tradition — gathering with the people you love to share in this game — is something I carry with me every single day. It lives at the heart of this league. SFL is not just about points and standings. It is about keeping that spirit alive: watching together, debating together, and loving this game together. This one's for her. The Survivor Fantasy League was born from a simple belief: that the greatest competition ever put on television deserves a fantasy league worthy of it. Not a spreadsheet. Not a group chat with disputed math. A real league — with real rules, real stakes, and a real champion. We began as a trial. Five captains. Thirty-three scoring events. One season. That trial is our foundation — every rule tested, every point earned, every call made in the open. Nothing hidden, nothing invented. If you scored it, you can see exactly why. But a trial is only the beginning. SFL is THE PREMIER HOME of fantasy Survivor. We are building a league of Tribes — where any group of friends, any gathering of strangers, can found their own Tribe, draft their squad, and chase a real championship. Your Tribe. Your captains. Your season. All running on the same engine of fairness we built here. Every point is earned. Every call is transparent. Every season crowns one champion. That is our promise. That is our Constitution. That is the standard I will hold us to — as your President, as your Chief, and as a fan who loves this game as much as you do. The League is Life. Let's build it together. — President Bigorious

About the President

Tim Fouty — known across the league as President Bigorious — was born in Grand Rapids and raised in Wyoming, Michigan. Lower middle class, parents divorced when he was six. He spent every other weekend at his mom’s house and wanted to live there full time. What he found there wasn’t just a second home — it was unconditional love. His mom made sure her kids knew they were loved at all times, no conditions, and she still does — now for the grandkids too. That stuck. Everyone has a unique story, and everyone’s voice deserves to be heard equally. It’s how he runs the league.

He’s wanted to cook since he was a kid — it was Ron Popeil infomercials over cartoons. But after a year of Aeronautical Engineering at Western Michigan, he left to join the Army. Started on track for EOD (bomb disposal), earned a Top Secret clearance the FBI called their easiest assignment ever, then a knee injury in training rerouted him to truck driving, then to Military Intelligence as a 35M Human Intelligence Collector — the most competitive slot in the unit. He scored second-highest on the language aptitude test and graduated 5th in his class. The same knee injury from basic training flared up during a PT test in Grayling, ending the deployment dream, and he came home to kitchens — working his way up through a casino buffet, learning everything.

He’s into the shows that reveal how humans actually respond to adversity — Survivor, Big Brother, Game of Thrones. That’s what the SFL is: a game on top of the game, a new layer of investment for fans who already live and die with every episode.

His motto as President: I built the road, you drive it. Or as he’d also put it — it’s about having fun on top of fun. Fun².

You want to know the kind of guy he is? His uncle once asked him why geese fly in a V with one side always longer than the other. The answer: there’s more geese on that side. And a line his dad dropped on him 25 years ago that still cracks him up: “If at first you don’t succeed, keep on suckin’ till you do suck-seed.”
